Cookie Policy

Spacebackend S.a r.l. ('the Company,' 'we,' 'us,' or 'our'), Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte 22, 1855 Luxembourg, operates spacebackend.co (the 'Service'). This Cookie Policy explains our cookies, similar technologies, and your control choices.

1. Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit. They help the site remember information about your visit. We also use local and session storage for similar purposes.

2. Your Consent

Under the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), we require your prior consent before setting any non-essential cookies. The cookie banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline. Essential cookies are set without consent because they are strictly necessary to provide the Service. You may change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page.

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

Name	Category	Duration	Purpose
cookie-consent	Essential	12 months	Records your cookie choice so the banner does not return on each visit.
cookie-consent-ts	Essential	12 months	Records when you consent so the 12-month expiry can be applied.
spcb_session	Essential	Session	Keeps your authenticated portal session active. Removed when you close your browser.
_spcb_csrf	Essential	Session	Protects against cross-site request forgery. Required for submissions.
_sa_*	Analytics (with consent)	Up to 13 months	Self-hosted analytics count visits and navigation paths to help us understand how engineering teams use the Service. Data stays in our infrastructure and is not sent to external analytics vendors. Set only with analytics consent.

4. Third-Party Cookies

We use no third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Our self-hosted analytics remain in our infrastructure and are not sent to external analytics vendors.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts through an external CDN. Google may set cookies or record your IP address when serving them; see Google's privacy policy for details.

5. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies in several ways:

• Use the "Cookie preferences" footer link to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time;
• Configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly;
• Use browser privacy extensions or settings to restrict cross-site tracking.

Browser documentation for managing cookies: Chrome, Firefox, Safari.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Policy when our cookies change. Material changes will appear under a new "Last updated" date. If renewed consent is needed, we will show the banner again.
